    Description

    Maker-Marked McChesney Spurs c1928.
    Large transitional, single-mounted pair manufactured just after sale to Nocona. Inside the heelband is their first mark. 2 1/2-inch, 16-point rowels on drop shank with exaggerated chap guard. Fine, engraved silver overlay of floral motifs terminating in cactus blossoms on heelband and button. Fancy brown leathers abundant with nickeled buttons.

    Condition: Very good. Light age wear and patina. Scattered cowboy dents. Leather is fine, slightly stiff with scattered verdigris.
