Lot of Three Wild West items, Gordon Lillie & Capt. Jack Crawford Autographs, ca. 1910-1930. First is a price list from Pawnee Bill's Buffalo Ranch for prime Buffalo Meat for sale. 5.25" x 7". Second, partially printed check signed by G. W. Lillie (Pawnee Bill) with a great vignette of Pawnee Bill's old town and Indian trading post. Third, signed letter J. W. Crawford Capt. Jack to Mr. J. C. Miller 101 Ranch Wild West Show, Jersey City, N. J. Note in Crawford's hand; "I could easily get two or three company's of U. S. Soldiers got Influence," Then typed letter to Miller (In part) "My dear Miller: Just before starting west I heard from a friend today that Cody (Buffalo Bill) is going into moving picture business and the idea suggested itself to me that I can arrange some real Indian fights that would be very valuable and if could be arranged that you could go sometime with the cowboys and get some Indians up at Pine Ridge or near where the old Custer Massacre was and reenact the massacre. I could play the part Custer in great shape and give such exhibition as was never seen before. We could get some of the Indians that participated, covering the same ground and the pictures would be worth a barrel of money, etc." Very interesting two sided letter printed on his letterhead by this famous Poet Scout. 8.50" x 11".

    All items very fine.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
