    Lot of Four Photographs of Men with Weapons ca 1870s-1880s. These four sepia tone large format photographs depicts Hunters in the Rocky Mountains. No photographer identification on these images. The first image notation is "Study of a border Ruffian" a man sitting in chair in front of cabin, reading note, with snow shoe in background, he is wearing a great hat, has a cartilage belt with large shells in it and a Bowie knife attached to belt. Next image "A Place in the Rockies" an interior photograph of cabin, Wood stove, Fishing Creel, & Misc. also there is a Winchester on hanging on wall, and a long rifle in leather rifle gun holster scabbard. Third image "Hunting Outfit" four men on horses in front of Rocky Mountain cabin, they all have long rifles and there hunting accruements. The last photograph "Continental Divide" unidentified man sitting on horse with holstered revolver, Winchester rifle, cartilage belt, etc. a very nice early photograph deal. All photographs measure approximately 6.50" x 9".

    Condition: Very fine, mount has light discoloration
