"Sir, I am directed by the commissioners Indian affairs, under date of 29 ___ to call upon the agent and sub agents to report without delay not only the amount of iron, steel & coal they have purchased for 1835, but the ___ they may have on hand remaining ___ supplies of former years. You will therefore be pleased to give the information desired immediately and unconnected with any other subject, Your Ob. Svt. Wm. Clark".
