    Large Lot of Material With Texas Ranger Association. Comprising: 1) Leather Holster and Cartridge Belt Made by George Lawrence, Portland, Oregon and Signed by Texas Ranger Captain Jack Dean. Brown leather holster for 5 1/2 -inch revolver signed in ink on the reverse "Captain Jack Dean Co. D. Texas Rangers". 2) Texas Centennial 1836-1936 Commemorative Cowboy Hat. Marked Sanger Brothers, Dallas on the leather sweatband. 3) Leather Tobacco Pouch With Beaded Texas Ranger Star. Small leather pouch with beaded Texas Ranger Star badge with the name George Horton beaded around the border. Contents include two flattened bottle caps with star motifs and a single leather saddle concho. According to the consignor this pouch was found in a 19th century slicker. Notes from the consignor indicate the George Horton was a Company D Texas Ranger in 1896. 4) Large Archive of Letters Written to Texas Ranger Frank Patterson who was a Ranger from 1917 (Co. B) through 1922 (Co. D). Approximately 17 personal letters written to Patterson by Alma Farmer, (daughter of Kimble County surveyor A.G. Farmer, founder of F6 ranch in Junction, TX) during the years 1918-1923. Also includes Patterson's safety razor, small scissors, and eye glasses. Patterson's Company B under Captain Fox was involved in several engagements with Mexican rebels and bandits. 5) Stratton Department of Public Safety Style Hat. 5x Beaver. Size 7 1/8. 6) Kellogg's Junior Rangers Certificate. 10 x 7-inches. Printed certificate with "Junior Ranger's" black and white photo booth photograph mounted and signed by "Colonel Louis".
    Condition: 1) Very good. Showing modest wear. 2) Very good. Scattered soiling and moth tracks. Centennial logo a bit worn and faded. 3) Very good. A bit dry from age. 4) Very good. 5) Excellent. 6) Very good. Some toning and foxing to the paper.
