    Two Stereoviews- San Miguel Church, Santa Fe, New Mexico Territory, ca. 1870s-1880s. Two early New Mexico Territory stereo's of the famous San Miguel church. This chapel was erected around 1582, by Franciscan Fathers. In 1680 the Indians rebelled against the Spaniards and drove them form the country. The original building was burnt down reconstructed in 1710. Title on stereo mount. "Among the ancient and interesting scenery of New Mexico, photographed and published at Santa Fe, N. M. by W. Henry Brown". Measure approximately 7" x 4.25".

    Very good-fine, contrast good, mounts have normal wear, one as small chip.
