    Stereoview San Carlos, Apache Reservation Arizona Territory ca 1880's - San Carlos Apache Indian Reservation, in southeastern Arizona, United States, was established in 1871, and is home to a conglomeration of Apache tribes relocated there from traditional Apache homelands in Arizona and New Mexico. J. C. Burge worked the Northern part of the Territory beginning in the early 1880s operating in "Old Town" Flagstaff. Burge traveled making images and moved his gallery to Globe City in 1883 where he produced images of the area and San Carlos reservation.
