Contains articles on the agricultural resources of Nevada, the reclamation project centered around Metropolis (which ultimately failed), the mining industry, various counties and cities, the University of Nevada, the importance of the railroad, and many, many others. Front cover is detached with separation along the spine. Paper loss to front cover. [and:] Opening of the Santa Clara Kitchen. One page broadside, 6" x 9", Reno, n. d. [circa 1890]. It boasts, "Good home cooking, by a genuine colored cook - Chef Woodward comes to you with 25 years experience. Chef to former Governor Brady of Idaho, the old Owyhee Hotel, the Dewy Palace and the Famous Shoshone."
