    Description

1862 Bill of Sale for the "Six Bit" Gulch Fluming Claim. One page, 4.5" x 7.75", March 8, 1862. Chinese Camp is in western Tuolumne County about 10 miles southwest of Sonora. It was a placer-mining center settled by Chinese miners in 1849. This one page bill of sale signed by W. C. Goodwin reads in part: "For and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars to me in hand paid by M. McMan I do bargain and sell all my right title and interest in and to a certain mining claim situated on six bit gulch and known as six bit gulch fluming claim...". The paper has toned with age and there is a small tatty area at the upper left corner, else it is in good condition.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
