Framed 1933 Jo Mora Salinas Rodeo Poster Featuring the Sweetheart of the Rodeo Icon. Colorful lithograph on paper. Measures 24.5" x 32". Titled Salinas Rodeo, this poster is a vibrant and eye-popping display depicting all aspects of life in the rodeo. The poster enumerates the history, tools and symbols of the American Cowboy in an intense presentation of iconic Western art. The "Sweetheart of the Rodeo" symbol at the top center of the poster is an iconic image, used most famously on the cover of The Byrds' album Sweetheart of the Rodeo (along with some other art from this very poster). The bottom left of the poster reads "Jo Mora Publications, Monterey, California", and the bottom right reads "Copyrighted 1933 by Jo Mora." The poster is in excellent condition, with a few wrinkles on the surface of the paper and light toning visible around the edges. Original releases of this poster are scarce, especially in this condition. Joseph Jacinto "Jo" Mora is one of the most respected and famous Western artists of the 20th century, and Salinas Rodeo is one of his most sought-after works. Attractively framed and ready to hang in the home or office of any collector of the American West.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
