    Double-Mounted Gal Leg Spurs by Bill Homer.
    Large web rowel on silver and copper engraved gal leg shanks. Card suits on silver mounts to bands. Opposite side with silver-mounted, fine engraved hearts. Fixed buttons with heart and diamond covers. Marked inside heelband: 425 / HOMER / 08. Sold together with beautiful and fancy tooled leathers. Buckle is gold and silver mounted with four suits. Buckle is signed HOMER. Note: Bill is listed in "Bits and Spurs Motifs, Techniques and Modern Makers by Ned and Jody Martin.
    Provenance: Roger and Linda Carpenter Collection.

    Condition: Fine. Unused. Fine spots of surface rust where shank meets the heelband.
