    Eclectic group of evocative items, including: 1) wonderful 8" x 10" mounted ivorytype photo of the parade in Deadwood in celebration of the admission of South Dakota as a state in 1889, 2) 3.5" x 3.5" ivorytype mounted on a rigid album page showing the "Old coach of the Deadwood Line." (minor loss to right corners), 3) stereoview of "Main St. Deadwood" with Wentworth House in the foreground (fair condition, wear to corners, discoloration), 4) stereoview titled "Street View, Deadwood, S.D.", 5) two playing cards (Queen of Hearts and ten of diamonds, Queen has back mark "No. 10 Deadwood D.Tr." with light discoloration), 6) $100 promissory note signed Henry Kellogg datelined "Deadwood D.T. March 11th 1879.", 7) 4" Edholm & Akin sterling silver demitasse spoon engraved "Deadwood Black Hills 1892" in the bowl, 8) 25 mm. copper "Good For" token for H. C. Smith Saloon (active 1898-1899) with Brunswick-Balke-Collender billiard "check" inscription on the other side (About Fine with scattered pitting and corrosion), 9) a 4-page letter written from Deadwood on May 14, 1883 with transmittal envelope having a crossed-out return address for "J. Goldberg Big Horn Store" in Deadwood. The letter discusses the prospects for the Little Wonder mine and possible investors to support the operation.
