    Crockett Spurs With Inside Mark.
    2 1/2-inch, 20-point rowels on 2 1/2-inch slight drop shank. Chap guard has been removed. Rocker-engraved silver overlays. 1-inch heel bands. Swinging buttons. Tooled brown leather straps that appear to have been on these spurs a very long time. Roller buckles. The CROCKETT maker's marks on the inside of the heelband measures 1-inch. To the left of each is the possible vestige of an O for Oscar which would make this pair date to 1917-1924.

    Condition: About good as altered. Chap guard has been removed. Moderate to heavy wear throughout. Mostly smooth patina to iron mixed with patches of staining and fine pitting. Overlays with numerous small dents. Leather is good, remaining mostly supple but with crackling at stress points. One billet with old repair.
