DescriptionCrockett Single-Mounted Spurs with Inside Mark.
Nice, well-used pair with 2 1/4-inch rowels. Rocker-engraved silver overlays surrounding copper eagle. Swinging buttons with four quadrant pattern. Tooled, two-piece light brown leathers with roller buckles. Inside mark measures 1 1/4-inch. See page 122 "Bits & Spurs In The Texas Tradition" by House and Martin. The mark in this location circa 1925-1935.
Provenance: Roger and Linda Carpenter Collection.
Condition: Very good to fine. Iron with a mostly smooth, brown age patina with scattered fine patches of spotting and staining. Light surface rust to inside of heelband. Leathers also very good to fine with just the right amount of age wear and light soiling.
