    Crockett Single-Mounted Aspen Leaf Spurs.
    Inside marked pair. 2 1/4-inch, 20-point rowels on short, turned down shanks with chap guards. 1-inch bands taper to 3/4-inch at the swinging buttons. Rocker-engraved silver overlays, the larger a beautiful Aspen leaf on heel band. Opposite side bearing the old cowboy's personalization, "BOB." The inside mark measures 1 1/4-inch and is in the #1 location. Referred to as the "Big inside mark" according to Adamson, House and Martin's "Bit & Spurs In The Texas Tradition". See page 122. Circa 1925-1935. Sold together with plain brown leathers with roller buckles.
    Provenance: Roger and Linda Carpenter Collection.

    Condition: Very good. Mostly smooth brown age patina to iron. Overlays showing some age wear, scratches and dents. Leathers also very good with light soiling.
