    Crockett Double-Mounted Gal-Leg Spurs.
    1 1/2-inch 8-point rowels. Alternating silver and copper overlays to each side of gal-legs. Heelbands with engraved silver overlays. Crockett buttons with the four quadrant pattern. Maker-marked below button in the #2 location. Circa 1938-43. See page 122 House "Bits & Spurs In The Texas Tradition." Fine, two-piece basket-weave brown leathers.
    Provenance: Roger and Linda Carpenter Collection.

    Condition: Fine. Smooth age patina showing very little wear. One minor ding to one button cover. Leathers possibly later replacements.
