    Archive of N. H. Rose Collection Silver Gelatin Prints of Western Subjects. One-hundred-two [102] photographs, all but one 5" x 8", printed in the late 1920's from the originals in the "N. H. Rose Collection of Old Time Photographs, San Antonio, Texas." The time frame for the subjects range from the founders of the Republic of Texas to early 20th century Texas rangers. There are Native Americans, law enforcement personnel, outlaws and the notorious. Some examples include: The Apache Kid, Geronimo, Modoc Chief Captain Jack, Chief Gall, Sam Bass, John Wesley Hardin, members of the Bill Cook Gang, post-mortems of the Doolin Gang, Calamity Jane, Wild Bill Hickok, "California Joe" Milner, Bat Masterson, Billy the Kid, Robert Ford, Jesse James, William Quantrill, personnel of the Northfield Bank hit by the James Gang, 1887 view of Texas Rangers of Company D, "Big Foot Wallace", Jim Bridger, the Younger Gang, Pat Garrett, Frank James, Captain Jack Crawford, Buffalo Bill, the Dalton Gang, Kit Carson, Jim Bowie, Crazy Horse, Sitting Bull, Red Cloud, Rain-in-the-Face, the Buck Gang and a host of others.
