    Colt Pocket Model 1849 with Custer Association. This .31 caliber revolver, serial number 199673, features a 5-shot cylinder, 6" octagon barrel, and loading lever and plunger, all of iron. The trigger guard, back strap and front strap are brass. The trigger guard is slightly bent, indicating a possible blow on left side.

    The serial number appears on the barrel lug, bottom of frame, and flat of trigger guard and butt strap. The wedge could not be removed. '9673" appears on the loading lever flat.

    The walnut grip shows modest wear with a few dings and scratches. No finish remains.

    Cylinder is marked "Colt's Patent" over "no. 99673". Cylinder scene is very faint.

    Affidavit, Dated, Sept. 25th, 1955. This gun was displayed for many years at the Adams Memorial Hall Deadwood, South Dakota, as part of the W. D. Fisher Collection. Etc,

    Fair minus. Possible exposure to the elements. All iron parts are dark with evidence of pitting. Surface rust is visible in cylinder stops, on inside of recoil shield and hammer face. Brass parts exhibit a dark, mellow patina.
