Buffalo Bill Wild West: Broadside Promotional & Book. The star of this group is a piece in which Buffalo Bill played a supporting part along with Wild Bill Hickok, Kit Carson, Sitting Bull, and Geronimo. This is a framed broadside advertising D. M. Kelsey's 1903 Our Pioneer Heroes and their Daring Deeds. The pictures of the notables are crisp, and the paper is in excellent condition. The broadside measures 28" x 14" and is mounted in a 35-1/2" x 21-1/2" frame. The second piece is one of the most widely available Buffalo Bill books -- Story of the Wild West and Camp-fire Chats (Philadelphia, 1888) -- but difficult to find in such good condition with its frontispiece lithograph intact and bright. The book was published by subscription and offered a modest living to sales agents. This group includes three pieces constituting a sort of sales "kit" for prospective salesmen.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
