Autograph Letter Signed Inquiring about the Execution of Crawford "Cherokee Bill" Goldsby, 1900. On a sunny afternoon on March 17, 1896, Crawford "Cherokee Bill" Goldsby was escorted by prison guards, as well as his mother Ellen, Amanda Foster, an elderly lady who had help raise him, and Father Pius, a Catholic priest.
