Autograph Check "James Joseph Dolan" Lincoln County Wars, New Mexico. Dolan, James Joseph (1848-1898) he was a partner in a store in Lincoln, New Mexico 1870s. In 1877 Dolan shot to death Hilario Jaramillo, an employee threatened him with knife; he was cleared of the murder. Also in 1877 Dolan formed a partnership with John H. Riley which lasted through the Lincoln County war until 1880. Dolan had become leader of the anti-McSween forces, as no doubt he was, and hence the pivot of all the turmoil that is lumped together as the Lincoln County War. Dolan was named in a coroner's jury report as one of the slayers of Tunstall and in fact he had been a member of the "Posse," an advance element of which had brought him down, though Dolan was not directly involved. Dolan's forces won the Five Days' Battle at Lincoln in July, 1878, but it was a pyrrhic victory, trouble continued. Dolan was a central figure in the killing of attorney Huston I. Chapman February 18, 1879, and was indicted for murder.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
