Adams Express Company and United States Express Company Wanted Broadsides, Circa 1891. The Adams Express Company example measures 16" x 11" and seeks Marion C. Hedspeth and L. R. Wilson in connection with a November 30, 1891 train robbery near Glendale, Missouri. The broadside lists the items stolen and their value. Both men's pictures and descriptions are featured in the broadside. "No official reward has been offered for the arrest of these men, but Adams Express Company will deal fairly by any one who will give information leading to the identification and arrest of either one of the above described parties." Persons with knowledge of the men were encouraged to contact the Pinkerton Detective Agency. This example has a central fold crease and a bit of chipping to the edges, but is in otherwise very good condition. The United States Express Company example measures 5.5" x 8.5" and seeks information leading to the arrest of a man suspected of stealing money from their Suter, Pennsylvania office. "A LIBERAL REWARD will be paid for his apprehension." This example is in fine condition.
