1858 Wells, Fargo & Company Express Receipt for Gold Dust. One page, 8.5" x 5.5", November 4, 1858. A rather difficult document to decipher but apparently Wells Fargo received gold dust assessed at $2500 dollars from one "Hardy Kennedy" for which he paid a $6.28 fee. The document is printed in black ink on light blue paper. Though the penmanship leaves something to be desired the document is in very good condition with the usual fold creases and some toning on the creases.Auction Info
