    Description

    Space Shuttle Columbia (STS-3) Flown United States Marine Corps Flag Directly from the Personal Collection of Mission Commander Jack Lousma, Signed and Certified. A 6.25" x 5.25" (including the fringe) cloth flag that flew on the third Space Shuttle mission, March 22-30, 1982, with crewmembers Jack Lousma and Gordon Fullerton. It is enclosed in the original stickered plastic stowage pouch (opened on one side) in which it flew. Lousma has signed on this bag: "Flown on STS-3/ Jack Lousma/ Col. USMC (Ret.)". This is the first space-flown Marine flag Heritage has ever offered. Excellent condition.
