    Description

    Skylab II (SL-3) Flown and Worn Pair of Inflight Slippers Directly from the Personal Collection of Mission Pilot Jack Lousma, Signed and Certified. A pair of side-zippered, high-top cloth slippers with elastic bands up both sides. These were worn by Lousma while on the Skylab Space Station during the fifty-nine day mission, July 28 - September 25, 1973. Inside each shoe is a NASA tag with the following information: "BOOT ASSEMBLY, RIGHT (LEFT)/ P/N: SEB13100143-306 (305)/ S/N: 1079/ SIZE: 10/ CREWMAN: LOUSMA/ CONTRACT NO: NAS9-10702/ DATE OF MFG: 6-19-73/ MFG BY: WELSON & CO, INC". Lousma has signed each shoe: "My slippers worn/ on Skylab II/ Jack Lousma". Excellent condition.
