Luna 1 Armband Signed by Sergei Korolev. This red armband, with a white diamond patch that designated the "top priority access," was worn by Oleg Ivanovsky, the head of the Luna program, at Baikonur Cosmodrome during the launch of Luna 1. The Luna 1 was the "First Rocket to Interplanetary Space" launched on January 2, 1959.

Chief Constructor Sergei Korolev signed and dated this armband. Ivanovsky served as the head of the Sputnik, Luna, Vostok 1, and Lunokhod Programs. His name was top secret for over thirty years during which he was responsible for some of the greatest triumphs of the space era. Very fine condition. A certificate of authenticity signed by Oleg Ivanovsky is included.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
