A metal plaque has been affixed to the lower mat: "To Joseph Garino, Sr./ This Flag Carried in Space/ Aboard Gemini IX/ June 3-6, 1966.". Flags of this size that have flown in space rarely appear on the market. From the collection of renowned former physical trainer of the astronauts Joe Garino.
