Buzz Aldrin's Personal Apollo 11 Commemorative Medallion Struck by North American Rockwell. 62mm. Heavy brass. North American Rockwell had a deep history with the American space program. They were the chief contractor for the Apollo command module, which served throughout the Apollo program and even a few missions beyond. This beautiful medallion commemorates the Apollo 11 mission, when Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins flew to the moon. Collins piloted the North American Rockwell-made command module over the moon as Armstrong and Aldrin walked upon the lunar surface below. The medallion features a USA rocket and the words "Apollo XI Aldrin Armstrong Collins" around the edges on one side. The reverse side shows an anonymous astronaut walking the lunar surface with the lunar module behind him and the command module hovering above. Very fine condition, and a unique piece of history from Buzz Aldrin's personal collection. From the personal collection of Dr. Buzz Aldrin and accompanied by a signed Letter of Authenticity from him.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
