    Description

Buzz Aldrin: Fourteen Transparencies from a 1984 NASA Presentation on Lunar Surface Return. Measuring 8.5" x 11", these transparencies were used by Buzz Aldrin to present at the Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center at NASA in 1984. The pages show logistics and mathematical models describing in detail the process of lunar surface return, and the vehicles needed for such a process, such as the "Lunar Derived Solar Power Converter." The slides are in fine condition, and a peek inside the inner workings of a NASA project. From the personal collection of Dr. Buzz Aldrin and accompanied by a signed Letter of Authenticity from him.

We had a wonderful time in New York during the October 2013 Historical Manuscripts auction that featured my mother’s papers collected during her tenure as Martin Luther King, Jr.’s secretary. In fact, the entire experience from beginning to end has been a pleasure.
