    Description

Apollo Lunar Module to Command Module Transfer Pouch for Hasselblad 70mm Film Magazines. A stout Beta cloth bag of 8" x 22" with a drawstring at top through three metal grommets. The cloth label on the front reads: "LM 70mm Film Mags/ Fold Neck of Bag, Wrap with/ Cord & Secure with Sq Knot/ Stow in Vol A8 for Entry". Beta cloth pouches such as this were used to minimize lunar dust entering the command module cabin- the dusty 70mm film magazine pouch from the lunar module would be inserted into this pouch. Included is a red 6.25" x 3" reject tag, dated May 15, 1972, with the part number "V36-787352-101"; it was taken out of service because of a small tear at the corner of the opening. Excellent condition.
