Apollo 16 Training-Used Earth Orbital Path Display Chart Directly from the Personal Collection of Mission Commander John Young, Signed and Certified. A 27" wide color lithographed earth map glued around a 13.375" x 9.875" mat board with a removable translucent film overlay showing pre-printed orbit tracks and the date "2-21-72", designed to allow the overlay to rotate around the map. The map caption reads "APOLLO 16/ SKB 2100058-201/ 1st Edition February 23, 1972". This chart shows dozens of locations, numbered and outlined in red, including tracking stations, McDonnell Douglas Training Systems positions, and what are apparently emergency landing sites. Young has signed on the front: "Used For Apollo 16 Training/ John W. Young". Not common. Very fine condition with a vertical cellophane tape stain on the overlay.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
