Containing twelve pages with twelve color photos (one B&W) of the arrival and pre-launch activities. Printed in Russian on the cover of this green and red bound photo album, "Flights of Space Crafts, Soyuz 6, Soyuz 7, Soyuz 8, Cosmodrome October 1969." This is the Soviet government's secret historical photographs of the events at Baikonur that led to the first joint mission launch of three interacting spacecraft into space. The pictures included in the album are taken mostly from the top secret location of launch at Baikonur by government photographers. These were top secret photos of the events beginning with the crews' arrival at the Cosmodrome. Subjects include the preparation of the launch, the government commission and participants that were responsible for the flight, activities on the launch pad, journey to the launch pad, the rocket ready for launch, and more. All of these pictures could not - and most never would - be exposed to the public because of the top-secret designation placed on them by the U.S.S.R. government for over thirty-five years. This album was made for one of the participants present at the launch; he had top secret government clearance to have these photos in his possession.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
