Outstanding Charles Lindbergh Collection of Twelve Items. An exceptional grouping, including some quite unusual items. All are in nice condition.

1). Unique convex oval brooch, hand painted on ivory, showing the New York skyline, Eiffel Tower, and the "Spirit of St. Louis" flying between them. Minor surface rubbing. We cannot recall seeing this item before. 1.75" x 1.4".
2). Great mechanical card, measuring 8" x 5". Movable "Spirit of St. Louis" follows a track between New York and Paris. There is back damage from previous mounting, and minor paper loss at lower right-hand corner.
3). Rare brass watch fob, "Commemorating Cleveland's Welcome to Col. Charles A. Lindbergh." Pictures Lindy and presumably Cleveland's mayor with his famed plane in the background. Diameter 1.75".
4). Colorful cardboard fan, with advertising for Warren, Pennsylvania hardware store on reverse side. 8" x 11".
5). Scarce 1 1/4" button promoting his book, We, with Lindy and "We" in flag-draped ovals.
6). Unusual red and white 7/8" "We" button.
7). Scarce brass pin in form of his plane marked, "Spirit of St. Louis. N.Y. to Paris May 21, 1927." 2" x 1".
8). Uncommon blue litho 1 1/2" button proclaiming "Welcome Home Slim." Choice, virtually mint example.
9). 1 1/4" "Plucky Lindy" button with lucky horseshoe.
10). Another red, white, and blue "Plucky Lindy" 1 1/4" button.
11). Red, white, and blue 7/8" "Welcome Lindy" button.
12). Second-generation Underwood photo of Lindbergh shortly after his Paris landing.

Total individual retail value on this fine collection is around $800.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
