Lord Nelson: Walking Stick from H.M.S. Foudroyant, Admiral Horatio Lord Nelson's flagship. Launched in 1798, the Foudroyant, was used as Nelson's flagship from 6 June 1799 until the end of June 1801. In 1897 the ship was wrecked at Blackpool Sound and broken up. The wood was salvaged by the British Sailors' Society and refashioned into walking sticks and furniture. The knob, made from the copper sheathing below the Foudroyant's waterline, is embossed with the history and image of the ship as well as that of Admiral Nelson. The stick measures 37" including the knob and the brass and steel ferrule. Excellent.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
