DescriptionGemini 4: Original 16mm Color Film Print of America's First Spacewalk from Ed White's Personal Collection. A reel of 16mm color film footage in a can with a "NASA - Manned Spacecraft Center" label containing the following information: Job Order No. "5606"/ Date "6-4-56 [sic]"/ Roll No. "I"/ Engineer "K. Glover"/ Type of Film "Color Print"/ Subject "GT-4 Onboard EVA". This has not been unreeled or viewed by us but we assume that it is a first generation copy of film taken of White's dramatic spacewalk, the first for an American and the first ever self-propelled EVA. Ed White II embraced every opportunity to speak in public about the U.S. Space program and the Gemini 4 mission. It seems likely that he might have used this film during his presentations. A great opportunity to own an early print of a landmark feat in America's space program. Apparently excellent condition.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
