Charles Crocker Document Signed "Cha. Crocker." This 8.5" x 14" document was signed by Crocker on the 13th of August, 1884. The document is two pages, and printed on both sides. It is a Central Pacific Railroad Company deed for 160 acres of land bought by A.B. Driesbach. Driesbach paid $480.00 for the land. Crocker signs his name on the reverse of the first page, as second vice president of the Railroad. Crocker was largely responsible for heading the construction of the Central Pacific Railroad, and spending exorbitant amounts of money doing so. He was a well-respected man in his adopted state of California, and even served as alderman for the new Republican Party, supporting John C. Fremont's run for the presidency. Even though Fremont was unsuccessful, Crocker was elected to state assembly. He became one of Sacramento's leading citizens. Having played a large part in the uniting of the coast via the railroad. Crocker's signature is a valuable and interesting part of this country's history. Hammer your bid down on this lot today! Accompanied by LOA from PSA/DNA.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
