DescriptionVintage Aviation Relic in Framed Display: Lockheed Vega 5B, the Plane Amelia Earhart Flew on the First Nonstop Solo Flight Across the Atlantic by a Woman in 1932. She also used this same plane to make the first solo nonstop transcontinental flight by a woman later that same year. A 2" x 2" swatch of original fabric from this historic plane, mounted onto a sheet with a photo and full history of the crew and flight, framed to an overall 15" x 20". This historic fabric was salvaged during the restoration process and sold by the National Air and Space Museum. Some light scratches to frame, very fine.
