    Description

    Russian MiG Jet Pilot High Altitude Compensation Suit VKK-6 with GSh-6A Helmet and Original Wooden Container, Circa 1985. Used by Soviet pilots and still in use today, designed for long-duration, high-altitude flights. The suit is a Size 7 and bears zippers and numerous string ties as used for size adjustment. Two hoses that jut from the torso are made to connect to the cockpit where the suit's pressure is controlled. Storage bag included. The helmet (rarely included with suit) is a Size 2M and includes the basic hardware excepting the fabric communications helmet. Includes two original booklets in Russian, the blue cloth carry bag, and the 13.75" diameter x 15.5" green wooden crate. All items are in excellent, apparently unused condition.
