    Description

Howard Hughes: Fully Signed Flight Crew Cover. In July 1938, Howard Hughes and three crew members flew around the world - just one of the reclusive tycoon's accomplishments. This souvenir cover was carried on that flight. It is signed by Hughes and his crew (Dick Stoddard, Harry Connor and Edward Lund). It has postmarks from New York, Paris and Moscow and cancelled postage stamps from the U.S.S.R., France and America. It also bears a rubber stamp indicating the cover was "Flown Around the World" in a flight that took 91 hours, 14 minutes and ten seconds. The item is in mint condition and quite unusual, we believe, with good crossover appeal.
