    Graf Zeppelin Hindenburg: Swatch of Outer "Skin" Fabric. 4" x 1.5" piece of the silver-covered outer skin of the doomed Hindenburg dirigible, attached to a May 24, 1937 letter from the "American Zeppelin Transport Company" of New York. To wit: "This is to certify that the attached piece of fabric was taken from the wreck of the German airship 'Hindenburg' after she was destroyed by fire over the U. S. Naval Air Station at Lakehurst, N.J. on May 6th 1937."
