DescriptionAviation and Aviators Lot. This lot features 19 signed items, and numerous other unsigned materials, all of which have to do with aviation and aviators. The bulk of the lot consists of a series of lecture printouts, all of which have been signed by the respective speaker at each lecture. In addition to these is a signed photograph of Chuck Yeager, famous WWII pilot, and sonic barrier buster. Also, included is a handwritten letter signed by Douglas "Wrong Way" Corrigan. Corrigan became legend, not for his amazing aviating feats, but for his amazing aviating blunder. Corrigan was scheduled to fly from New York to California, but instead flew to Ireland, supposedly due to a compass reading error.
This lot features a milieu of items for the aviation enthusiast; included are such names as Steve Fossett, Clay Lacy, and Joseph J. Foss. A group like this is just a treasure trove waiting to be fully explored. A fantastic lot! Accompanied by LOA from PSA/DNA.
