Would have flown on Apollo 18.

Apollo LM-13 Lunar Module Insulation, Large Section. This unusually large piece, 19.25" x 4.25", of single-layered aluminized mylar was assigned to LM-13, of the canceled Apollo 18 mission, which would have likely landed inside the Crater Copernicus. Thermal protection jackets were what gave the lunar modules their distinctive golden appearance. It was called a "jacket" because it had to be fitted to the LM like a well-tailored suit. This surviving sample of LM-13's external insulation, includes two original small holes for "button" attachments (through which wires could pass to external electronics), when the single strip was to have been doubled over to form two of several multiple layers. Excellent condition.

The LM-13 jacket was completed but never attached and ended up being scrapped after the Apollo 18 mission was canceled. LM-13 itself was rescued and now resides in Long Island's Cradle of Aviation Museum. The artificial jacket now worn by LM-13 in its museum display (taped together from commercial Christmas wrapping foil about 1997) was created for the filming of Tom Hanks' From the Earth to the Moon, for which LM-13 stood in as a stunt double for, among others, the Apollo 11 and 17 Lunar Modules. From the collection of scientist and author Charles Pellegrino.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
