DescriptionApollo Era: NASA and Related Original Publications Collection. Approximately thirty-five vintage (1962-1972) brochures, prints, newsletters, pamphlets, and books. A nice grouping that includes several key issues of Spaceport News, an internal slick-paper newspaper published at the Kennedy Space Center. Included are: July 3, 1969 ("Countdown Looms For Launch Of Historic Apollo 11 Mission"); July 23, 1969 ("U.S. Lands Men on Moon"); July 31, 1969 ("Astronauts in Quarantine, Samples Studied"); November 6, 1969 ("Apollo 12 Countdown Picks Up Saturday Leading to Liftoff for Moon November 14"); and April 9, 1970 ("Apollo 13 Countdown Aims for Saturday Liftoff of Third Moon Landing Mission"). Another group of items that caught this cataloger's eye was a group of fourteen humorous 10" x 13" B&W posters from the Endevco Corporation, dated 1962-63. They each picture an animal with a funny space program-related caption. Overall fine condition or better. From the estate of NASA engineer Richard C. Proffitt, Launch Complex 39 Operations Manager from 1969 to 1976.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
HA.com receives more traffic than any other auction house website. (Source: Similarweb.com)
