Al Worden: British Award Certificate and Two Plaques Originally from His Personal Collection, Signed. Includes the following:
    (1) An 8" x 12" vellum certificate from The City University, London, reading: "Presented to Astronaut Alfred Merrill Worden in recognition of the outstanding achievements of the Apollo 15 team and to commemorate their visit to the University on Tuesday, 9th November, 1971". It is signed originally by the vice-chancellor and aeronautics department head and more recently: "Al Worden/ Apollo 15". In a custom slipcase.
    (2) A 6" x 7" shield-shaped plaque, also from The City University, from the Department of Aeronautics and with the signatures of more than two dozen members of that department on the verso. Signed on the front: "Al Worden".
    (3) A similarly-styled 6" x 7" plaque from the Staff College - Royal Air Force, signed on the verso: "Al Worden/ Apollo 15".
    All are in fine condition.
