[Ballooning] Crew-Signed Cover Flown on Double Eagle V, the First Balloon to Make a Successful Crossing of the Pacific, #1/1000 Limited Edition in Framed Display. A 7.375" x 4" hand-numbered and cacheted cover cancelled November 9, 1981, in Nagashima, Japan, and November 12 at Covelo, California. Signed by all four aboard: "Ben Abruzzo", "Larry Newman", "Rocky Aoki", and "Ron B. Clark". It is beautifully triple matted and archivally framed to an overall 16" x 12.5" with an engraved plaque reading: "First Cover Carried Across Pacific in a Balloon Double Eagle V". A few minor dings on the frame, overall very fine.
