    Description

VOTES FOR WOMEN SOUVENIR CHINA PLATE.

The movement to gain women their rights is one where the items are few and very sought after. This plate marked with the "Votes For Women" script logo is attributed as a souvenir from a Suffragette luncheon. The host had services of  eight made for each of her guests with the logo. Exceptionally rare this piece offered here is a bread or desert plate, 6 inches in diameter and marked on the back, John Maddock and Son. The plate shows age and light wear but the logo is a very deep blue showing up blodly against the white of the plate. Very nice "choice" condition.

Please note: Due to the size and/or weight of this lot, there may be additional shipping costs.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
