    Description

Joining forces with the Prohibition movement. This 5/8" button is printed in gold on a blue background. It is inscribed "Suffrage Means Prohibition." It was produced to gain the support of prohibition advocates. It implied that women, once given the vote, would join forces with them and support a Prohibition Amendment. Both Prohibition and Women's Suffrage saw enactment at approximately the same time, just after the conclusion of World War One. Excellent condition.
