    Rose of Washington, Magnus multicolored all-over design (L-5), used from Washington, D.C. to Hartsville, Mass, inscribed on the front "Soldier mailed this from Washington 1862, over & inside", addressed and franked on the reverse with U.S. 1861 3c rose tied by light Washington, D.C. postmark, includes the original Washington Rose foldout enclosure with red roses and green leaves on outside and blue and bronze scenes of Washington on the inside; cover with light tone spots and minor flap faults, Very Fine.
