    [sic] Page Machine from H. Grace June 10/19 E.L." [E. Lodge, the sender and addressee]. The Handley Page bomber was to attempt the Atlantic crossing from Harbour Grace at the same time as Alcock and Brown's Vickers Vimy, flying from Lester's Field, St. John's, but the plane never got off the ground and its mail was transported to the Vimy before its departure.
