1857-1944, Extensive & Valuable mint Collection. (Original Gum - Hinged). A fairly substantial collection of essentially mint United States stamps housed in a beautiful old Scott National Album replete with several hundred issues from most issues and periods far too numerous to describe in detail: however we noted (mint unless otherwise indicated) a VF 5c (10 X 1) reprint, followed by a good selection of the 1857 1c, 3c P. 15 issues with pairs, 1861 issues P.12 with a number of 1c & 3c, a good selection of the succeeding "Banknotes", mainly lower values but several VF or better examples, Columbians to 8c with shades, a good selection of the 1895 Bureau issues to 10c with several shades, Trans Mississippi 1c-4c including MNH blocks of the 1c & 2c, a good showing of the 1902 issues to 13c with several additional shades also pairs, coil pairs and imperforate varieties , Louisiana Purchase incomplete but including a block of the 1c, (two MLH & 2 MNH), and the Pilgrim issues to 2c including blocks. There follows a fairly extensive showing of the most of the Franklin - Washington issues to the $1, including blocks, pairs, coil pairs (some questionable) strips and varieties, Panama Pacific P.12 to 5c, & P. 10 to 2c with plate number singles, 1922 Regular issues P.11 complete to $2 Capitol Hill, Kansas Nebraska complete, plus a block of the Kansas 6c MNH and fairly complete thereafter including Parks, Prexies to $5 etc to 1946. Finally an interesting selection of BOB issues, with sparse airmails, but fairly extensive Special Delivery issues, Postage Dues, Parcel post, both Coast Guards, a selection of Officials, Guam 1c - 50c & 10c Special Deliver, some Canal Zone, Motor Vehicle appears complete, Newspapers PR 114-125, Potato Tax R1-13, Silver Tax 108-120 all mint, $5 War savings, mint small grease spot and much more, including in addition a brimming Scott National album with 1000's of less expensive issues. All in all a very interesting group with specialist material & high catalog value. Fine to Very Fine... From the Emerald City Collection

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
